A new developer has arrived on the Polish industrial and logistics property market. Quantum Real is starting operations with the Quantum Gliwice logistics park, where construction is already under way. The park’s first tenant is North Coast, a distributor of quality food products from Italy and the countries of the Mediterranean basin.
Quantum Real specialises in delivering modern logistics and industrial facilities for local and international companies. The company develops projects in locations with high business potential, with direct access to major motorway junctions, close to large urban centres and key distribution routes.
“We are entering the market with a clearly defined vision. We want to deliver Class A facilities in locations that genuinely support our tenants’ operations. The Polish industrial and logistics market remains one of the most dynamic in Central Europe, and Upper Silesia is its key link. Quantum Gliwice is a response to the growing needs of companies looking for modern, well connected space in the heart of the Silesian agglomeration,” says Robert Szafarz, Head of Leasing at Quantum Real.
The investment takes shape
The first lease agreement at Quantum Gliwice was signed by North Coast S.A., one of the leading distributors of Italian food products in Poland, active on the market since 1992. Within the leased space, North Coast will launch advanced chilled and frozen storage facilities, needed for storing and distributing fresh and frozen food products.
Quantum Gliwice is being built directly alongside the A4 motorway, around 3 km from the Sośnica junction where Poland’s two most important motorways, the A1 and A4, intersect. The location gives efficient connections to the domestic market and to the markets of Central Europe, including Germany and Czechia. In its first phase the park will offer around 43,000 sqm GLA, including Class A speculative space. The project is being delivered in line with sustainable development principles, with an emphasis on reducing energy consumption and lowering environmental impact.
The general contractor is Adamietz S.A., and the project already holds a building permit. Completion of works and handover of the building is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
